>>> Hwanamjeong Dwaeji Gukbap Myeongji Branch <<<
Hwanamjeong has its main branch in Choeup-dong, Busan, and we have recently opened a new branch in Myeongji.
For over a year, we prepared for this opening at our main branch in Choeup, personally boiling broth, cooking meat, and serving customers. Finally! We are opening Hwanamjeong Myeongji Branch in June 2024.
There are an unusually large number of Dwaeji Gukbap restaurants in Busan.
Busan's Dwaeji Gukbap is known to have originated among refugees after the Korean War, and there are various forms of the dish.
Sinchang Market-style Dwaeji Gukbap is a soup served in a clear broth made by simmering lean pork, resembling Gomtang, while
Miryang-style Dwaeji Gukbap is a soup served in a milky white broth made by simmering pork bones.
At Hwanamjeong Myeongji Branch, we serve Miryang-style pork soup. We offer a rich broth simmered from dawn until late at night using plenty of pork jowl bones, along with tender and savory boiled pork jowl (suyuk) made from 100% pork jowl, cooked three times a day, served neatly as a separate bowl of soup.
@@@ Five Special Features Unique to Hwanamjeong!!! @@@
First, we use pork jowl, a high-priced special cut.
To provide only lean meat and the core, we discard over 50% of the fat and edges.
Second, we offer healthy lotus root tea brewed with lotus root and sea bamboo shoots.
It purifies the blood, is rich in antioxidants, offers various health benefits, and has a savory, pleasant taste.
Third, we create a healthy flavor using Busan pollack roe and Gijang kelp vinegar.
We provide a healthy taste by utilizing local Busan cuisine.
Fourth, precious rolled bossam kimchi is served with our Subeok and Bossam menus.
Although this is a labor-intensive dish, we insist on this because we want to treat our valued guests to the finest.
Fifth, we use 60kg of seed bones to make a single bowl of broth.
We add seed bones generously to the broth to extract a milky white and rich flavor.
Hwanamjeong Myeongji Branch, operated by a young couple who are passionate about gukbap, will do its utmost to grow into a renowned Myeongji pork gukbap restaurant that exerts a positive influence on the local community through its delicious pork gukbap. We will not be swayed by small profits, but will cook gukbap with sincerity and heart.
